Expert Panel on the History of Nursing and Health Policy
The Expert Panel on the History of Nursing and Health Policy focuses on historical nursing inquiry and the implications of historical findings for the shaping of health policy today. Members of the panel, nurse historians with expertise in specific areas of health care history (e.g., advanced practice, pediatrics, disaster nursing, infectious disease, women’s health) provide historical information on selected topics of interest to other expert panels to help them identify and describe the historical roots of a nursing issue.
