American Academy of Nursing Holds Annual Policy Conference
900 nurse leaders assembling in nation’s capitol; October 17 to 19.
Washington, DC (October 14, 2013)—This week, the most influential and accomplished in the nursing profession in the United States and abroad will assemble in Washington, DC, for the American Academy of Nursing’s 40th annual policy conference.
In attendance will be nearly 900 Academy fellows and healthcare leaders, who represent nursing’s most accomplished in education, management, practice, and research. The Academy fellows are hospital executives, innovative researchers, and university professors and deans.
These influential nurse leaders will focus on health care policy and discuss the various ways nurses and other healthcare professionals can positively enhance health outcomes and the effectiveness of the health care delivery system.
