Conference Theme and Purpose American Academy of Nursing’s 35th Annual Meeting and Conference, Health as a Bridge for Global Peace, will provide a focus on Global Health and the critical role nurses play in all aspects of preventing and fighting diseases around the world. Conference Objectives 1. Specific strategies the nursing profession can use to improve global health, 2. Discuss challenges and opportunities in the field of global health; and, 3. Offer professional sessions and networking in order to explore the relationships between world peace, the health of nations, and the health of the people of each nation.
