Overview
November 5–7, 2009, the Academy held a forum to craft ideas to improve the health and well-being of the public in this era of health system reform.  Nurse leaders, aspiring nurse leaders, other health professionals, thought leaders, consumers, and policy experts came together in a participatory event to identify key strategies and specific opportunities for system-wide change.  The aim being to improve health care accessibility for children, the elderly, and diverse populations.
