Global Nursing & Health Expert Panel

The Expert Panel on Global Nursing and Health identify and explore issues and trends important to global nursing and health care delivery and policy, and provides expert opinion and recommend actions to the AAN Board of Directors and members related to global nursing and health.

Charge of Expert Panel:
Establish partnered research, present joint meetings, create collaborative practice arrangements and arrange administration and faculty exchanges. The panel has also been charged with identifying the single most important issue on the horizon in terms of policy for emerging and infection diseases

Summary:
The Expert Panel on International Nursing was established over a decade ago to facilitate communication and discussion on issues, policies, and concerns that are international or transnational in nature. The name was changed by the vote of the Panel membership in 2004 to the Expert Panel on Global Nursing and Health [Global Panel]. The intent is to identify and explore issues and trends important to global nursing and health care delivery and policy, and provides expert opinion and recommends actions to the AAN Board of Directors and members related to global nursing and health.
